Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office suite; ability and willingness to learn databases.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for services including setting up floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, photos and keepsakes.
• Prepares documents related to services and cremations.
• Assists with preparation of remains and operation of crematory as permitted by law.
• Performs office duties: phones, fax, computer, multi-line phone system, debit card machine, typewriter, postage meter and scales.
• Run errands for floral delivery, supplies, and documents.
• Acts as usher; may park cars or handle transportation needs.
• Drives Funeral Home vehicles for services and family pick-ups.
• Ensures refreshments are available where allowed by law.
• Assist with visitations, memorial and funeral services; set up and dressing of remains.
• Greets clients entering the office and provides information and assistance.
