Responsibilities

• Prepares for services by delivering and setting up floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, photos and other keepsakes; ensures proper storage of items.
• Prepares documents related to services, cremations, maintenance, as directed by management.
• Assists with respectful preparation of remains, including dressing and lifting, or operation of crematory as permitted by law.
• Performs office duties such as answering phones, operating fax, computer systems, and payment devices.
• Run errands for floral delivery, supplies, and documents.
• Serves as an usher and may park cars or perform transportation duties.
• Drives funeral home vehicles for services and family pickups.
• Ensures refreshments are available where allowed by law.
• Assist with visitations and funeral services, including setup and delivering items to families.
• Greets and assists client families entering the office.
