Sci Corp in Riverside, CA is seeking a Funeral Attendant to perform a variety of manual and office tasks before, during and after services to ensure ceremonies run smoothly and as planned. Duties include setting up rooms for ceremonies, copying memorial materials, greeting and escorting friends of the family, driving family members and cleaning vehicles.

The ability to work beyond standard business hours, including weekends and holidays, is required.

Competenze

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid state issued driver’s license.
No prior work experience required; funeral industry experience preferred.
Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
Compassion and confidentiality when handling families and the deceased.

Mansioni

Prepare casket and deceased for visitation or funeral services and transport as needed.
Prepare rooms for services, arrange chairs, flowers, keepsakes and guest books.
Greet visitors, provide programs, answer questions and share funeral service information.
May serve as pallbearer and may drive families to cemetery site.
Post-service duties include removal, cleaning and storage of company property and items.
Answer phones, screen callers, handle first-call information, and escort guests.
Maintain reception area and assist with mailroom tasks and document handling.
Transport, pick up, and deliver documents, flowers, and memorial items safely.
Wash, vacuum, and clean company vehicles and perform basic vehicle maintenance.
