Sci Corp in San Gabriel, CA is seeking a Funeral Services Assistant to provide clerical and operational support for funeral services. You will meet the public, answer questions, assist with services, and help with transport and setup.

A compassionate, professional demeanor and reliability are essential, with monthly staff meetings expected. Key tasks include preparing arrangements, processing service documents, assisting on cremations, and coordinating logistics with families.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office suite and databases; ability and willingness to learn.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares for services by delivering and setting up floral arrangements, chairs, urns, and keepsakes.
• Prepares documents related to services, cremations, maintenance, as directed by management.
• Assists with preparation of remains and funeral service logistics, including dressing and casketing as permitted by law.
• Greet clients and answer phones; perform office duties and basic equipment use.
• Drives funeral home vehicles for services and family transport as required.
• Assists with visitations, memorial and funeral services, including setup and transportation needs.
