Job summary

Sci Corp is seeking a Funeral Attendant to support services before, during, and after ceremonies. You will set up rooms, greet families, assist with caskets and memorial materials, and help with transportation and post-service duties.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. The role requires compassion, discretion, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare casket and deceased for visitation or funeral services and assist with transport as needed.
• Set up rooms for services, arrange chairs, flowers, guest books, and keepsakes.
• Greet visitors, provide programs, and answer questions.
• May serve as pallbearer and may drive families to cemetery site.
• Post-service duties include cleaning and storage of company property and packing keepsakes.
