Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• Some MS Office suite and databases preferred; ability and willingness to learn required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for services: floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, photos, keepsakes; ensures proper care and storage.
• May prepare documents related to services, cremations, maintenance.
• May assist with preparation of remains and operation of crematory as permitted by law and company regulations.
• Performs office duties: answering phones, using copier, computer, phone system, payment machines.
• Runs errands for supplies, flowers, documents.
• Serves as an usher and assists during funeral services.
• May drive funeral home vehicles for services and family transport.
• Prepares coffee & tea and sets up reception area.
• Assists with visitations, memorial and funeral services; setting up and delivering items.
• Greets clients and directs visitors for information and assistance.
• Accommodates family needs during service/visitation.
• Cleans and restocks areas after services.
• May take vehicles to be washed.
• Other duties as assigned.
