Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office suite and databases preferred; ability and willingness to learn required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for services by delivering and setting up floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, photos and keepsakes.
• Prepare documents related to services, cremations, maintenance as directed by management.
• Assist with preparation of remains, dressing and lifting, or crematory operation as permitted by law.
• Perform office duties: answering phones, operating fax, multi-line phone system, and other equipment.
• Run errands for floral delivery, supplies, and documents.
• Serve as an usher and assist with parking as needed.
• Drive funeral home vehicles for services and family transport.
• Ensure refreshments are available where permitted by law.
• Assist with visitations, chapel setup, dressing, and delivering family items.
