Job summary

Honquest Family Funeral Homes is seeking a compassionate Funeral Ambassador to warmly welcome families during visitations, services and receptions. You will prepare chapels and reception spaces, assist guests, coordinate guest materials, and support funeral directors to ensure a dignified, smooth experience for the families we serve.

No prior experience required. A valid state driver’s license and insurance compliance are needed for removal duties, on-call rotations, and after-hours service,

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Valid state issued driver’s license in good standing.
• Ability to meet company vehicle insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and assists families, guests, clergy, and vendors on arrival.
• Directs visitors to service locations, guest registers, reception areas, and restrooms.
• Prepares chapels, visitation rooms, and reception areas before services.
• Maintains guest areas clean, organized, stocked and presentable during services.
• Assists with parking logistics and procession coordination.
• Supports funeral directors and staff to ensure dignified services.
• Responds to first-call removals and transfers as needed.
