Job summary

Horan and McConaty is seeking a part-time Ambassador to support funeral services. You will greet families, guide guests, manage guest books, and help ensure flowers, refreshments and spaces are ready for ceremonies.

You will assist with parking, transporting families, and representing the business professionally in the community. The role emphasizes empathy, professionalism, and strong communication in a sensitive setting.

Qualifications

• Valid state issued driver's license in good standing with acceptable driving record.
• No prior experience required.
• Able to read, write and speak English fluently; bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greets and directs client families and guests to the correct chapel.
• Directs visitors to guest book and distributes memorialization materials.
• Answers questions and assists with serving the needs of client families and guests.
• Receives and places flowers in chapels.
• Ensures refreshments are available to client families and their guests.
• Ensures lobby, chapels, restrooms and reception areas are clean and prepared.
• Oversees parking area, valets vehicles and arranges ceremonial vehicles for procession.
• Assists with directing and transporting families to and from service locations.
• Acts as an ambassador of the business in the community; professional and ethical at all times.
• Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Other duties as assigned.
