Job summary

Talentify is seeking an experienced Operations and Accounting Coordinator to oversee accounting functions and daily office activities for the funeral home network. You will coordinate accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash handling, while supporting HR processes and payroll policies in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires a minimum of two years in bookkeeping or related financial work, strong MS Office skills, and a compassionate, confidential approach.

Qualifications

• Two years of bookkeeping, general office, clerical accounting, and accounts payable experience required.
• High school diploma or GED or diploma-training program completed.
• Solid computer skills including MS Office, e-mail, internet and basic office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable collections and verify/pay accounts payable invoices.
• Control cash receipts, deposits and petty cash, maintain related records.
• Reconcile bank accounts and prepare cash disbursement reports.
• Coordinate office supplies, inventory, and memorial/casket orders as needed.
• Assist with payroll processing, HR paperwork, and SOX-related compliance.
• Support field operations with timely reporting and documentation.
