Job summary

Service Corporation International seeks an experienced administrator to manage the accounting and operational activities of a funeral home, cemetery and/or crematory location. You will oversee A/R, A/P, cash handling, payroll, and reporting while coordinating merchandise orders and vendor contracts.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma, GED or completion of a diploma-training program.
• Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing.
• Solid computer skills including MS Office, e‑mail, internet and basic office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee collections of accounts receivable and payments of accounts payable invoices.
• Maintain cash controls, reconciling cash receipts and deposits.
• Process payroll and timekeeping in accordance with company policies.
• Prepare and file funeral/cemetery-related forms and reports accurately.
• Coordinate orders for merchandise, memorials, caskets, and related inventory.
• Support location management to ensure contracts and work orders are completed on time.
