Qualifications

• Licensed Funeral Director required by state law.
• Diploma in Funeral Services/Mortuary Science preferred; bachelor’s degree where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and conduct funeral services per family wishes, expectations, and spiritual beliefs.
• Discuss options, services, products, and pricing with families; communicate veteran or recognition benefits as applicable.
• Execute funeral services contracts and documents in compliance with state and federal laws.
• Develop annual business plan and budget with Location Manager; monitor financial, production and revenue goals.
• Manage frontline supervisors; ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Assist Location Manager with day‑to‑day operations to exceed client family expectations.
• Identify barriers, propose improvements, and ensure staff are trained and licensed.
