Legacy Funeral Group in Texas is seeking a part-time receptionist who will be the first point of contact for families and the public. You will answer phones, greet visitors, and provide courteous, professional service while supporting funeral directors, managers and co-workers.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean reception area, assisting with administrative tasks related to death documents, and coordinating information between families and staff.

• Good written and verbal communication skills for interactions with grieving families, co-workers, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide first point of contact with the public. Answer telephones in a professional manner; greet families and ensure their comfort.
• Maintain reception area, conference rooms, viewing rooms, chapel, restrooms, and administrative areas within the funeral home.
• Provide administrative support for funeral directors and managers regarding memorial packages and related documents.
• May schedule support staff for services and act as liaison between staff and directors.
• Assist with daytime funeral and memorial services and with setup of equipment for services and visitations.
