Job summary

Bloomberg is seeking a Funds Product Manager to define and execute the product strategy for our public funds. You will identify critical data gaps across funds, share classes, managers, and holdings, and work with Engineering and Data teams on scalable data models and APIs to support fund discovery and analysis.

You will build a phased roadmap with MVPs, ensuring usability across Bloomberg workflows such as fund research, screening, benchmarking, and risk analytics.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management in asset management or financial data.
• Experience with fund research, screening, and portfolio construction workflows.
• Experience building data products, platforms, or APIs.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product strategy for Bloomberg’s public funds.
• Identify and prioritize data gaps across funds, share classes, and holdings.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Data teams on scalable data models and APIs.
• Build and maintain a roadmap with phased MVPs balancing impact and complexity.
• Ensure funds are usable across Bloomberg workflows: research, screening, performance attribution, and risk.
• Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Data, Sales, and Operations to serve existing clients and attract new users.
• Define and monitor success metrics tied to data coverage, freshness, accuracy, and adoption.
