Job summary

Healthcare Alternative Systems (HAS) is seeking a Development Associate to support fundraising operations, donor relations, gift processing, and grants administration. This role reports to the VP of Advancement & Strategy and helps maintain accurate donor data, prepare timely acknowledgments, and deliver reliable weekly outputs.

Ideal candidates will have strong writing, detail orientation, and relationship-building skills to move multiple priorities through a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in nonprofit administration, development, fundraising, or a related field.
• Familiarity with donor databases or CRM systems and data reporting.
• Familiarity with project management systems and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Manage donor relations and CRM data entry, and prepare timely acknowledgments.
• Process gifts, pledges, and issue tax receipts.
• Prepare fundraising reports, gift summaries, and constituent lists.
