Job summary

The Alzheimer’s Association is seeking a Manager, Walk to End Alzheimer’s, to lead three Walk events in the Greensboro region. You will recruit and coach volunteers, cultivate sponsors and community leaders, and drive revenue growth through proven fundraising strategies.

Travel up to 50% within the Piedmont Triad area is required. The role reports to the Sr. Director and offers a competitive salary with incentive opportunities based on portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of proven experience in recruiting and mobilizing volunteers to achieve goals.
• Preferred peer-to-peer fundraising experience or equivalent sales background.
• Confident, goal-oriented, positive self-starter able to work independently with limited supervision and collaboratively with internal and external partners.
• Demonstrated ability to form and develop corporate relationships and partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of three Walk to End Alzheimer’s events.
• High level volunteer recruitment, training, coaching, and management.
• Build relationships with volunteers, participants, sponsors and community leaders; manage corporate partners.
• Oversee volunteer committee development, recruitment, retention strategies, budget, timeline, and PR/marketing.
