Job summary

UJA-Federation of New York is seeking a Data Analyst to partner with our fundraising team, building dashboards that translate fundraising data into actionable insights. You will work to improve data collection, structure and sharing while collaborating with staff across teams.

You will design Power BI dashboards, analyze trends, and tell clear data stories to guide decision-making and optimize fundraising performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data visualization, or BI with fundraising data.
• Bonus if you have experience working on Salesforce or with Salesforce data
• Proficiency in data visualization tools, particularly PowerBI.
• Strong understanding of fundraising KPIs and analytics with large datasets.
• Expert proficiency with SQL and working with fundraising/financial data.

Responsibilities

• Build dashboards: Create and manage Power BI dashboards showing fundraising results (engagement, conversion, growth).
• Analyze data: Find trends, spot issues, and explain what the data means.
• Partner with teams: Learn needs and help use data in decisions.
• Improve systems: Set up tools/workflows to reduce manual work and keep reports up to date.
• Tell clear stories: Use charts to help others understand numbers.
