Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a Development Coordinator for our Utah Division in Salt Lake City. In this role you will plan, coordinate, and implement fundraising campaigns, manage donor records, and support event logistics to deliver engaging experiences for our communities.

You will collaborate across teams, manage multiple projects, recruit and engage volunteers, process donations, and help create compelling materials to advance our lifesaving mission.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet timelines.
• Administrative expertise with clerical responsibilities and data management.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration.
• Ability to plan and execute corporate events (in-person and digital).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Canva.
• Daily local travel with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides logistical, administrative, clerical and data management support to the Utah Division to ensure programs run efficiently.
• Procures resources and may solicit in-kind donations.
• Recruits, manages, and engages event volunteers.
• Processes invoices, researches, orders supplies, and assists with event setup/teardown.
• Manages donor and campaign information in AHAs systems accurately.
• Collaborates across departments to create correspondence and collateral.
• Responsible for timely processing of donations, including weekly mail.
• Ensures timely communication with internal and external partners to support collaboration.
