Job summary

Catholic Charities Of The Archdiocese in Houston, TX seeks a Development & Events Associate to advance fundraising, donor engagement, and stewardship. You will coordinate major fundraising events, manage donor relations, and support community partners across Galveston County and surrounding areas.

Reporting to the Senior Development Officer, Special Events & Donor Relations, you will help plan, execute, and evaluate events, prepare donor materials, and maintain accurate records to strengthen

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent.
• Minimum two years experience in fundraising, development, or events.
• Valid Texas Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute major fundraising events (Wine & Dine Gala and others).
• Manage event logistics: sponsorship tracking, invites, guest mgmt, registrations, vendors, volunteers, day-of operations.
• Oversee donor recognition events and donor stewardship activities.
• Coordinate donor site visits and engagement opportunities with program and facilities staff.
• Maintain donor, sponsorship, and event records in CRM and fundraising systems.
• Collaborate on sponsorship proposals, donor packets, and stewardship materials.
