Job summary

Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch, CO is seeking an Advancement Associate to advance its mission through relationship development, fundraising, and community engagement on campus.

You will lead Annual Fund campaigns, oversee the Gala, cultivate donors including Freshman families, and collaborate across teams to expand philanthropic support while modeling servant leadership and a Christ-centered culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 2+ years experience in fundraising and/or managing annual fund programs and campaigns.
• Understanding of private philanthropy.
• Prior experience in event coordination and execution preferred.
• Strong understanding of database management and analytics; Veracross knowledge a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal.
• Commitment to fostering a collaborative environment among faculty, staff, students, and families.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Suite software programs.
• Private school experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Annual Fund strategies and donor engagement plans.
• Lead Annual Gala planning, logistics, and auction procurement.
• Cultivate new donors and steward relationships, including Freshman families.
• Collaborate with Advancement Team and departments to align fundraising efforts.
• Represent Valor with professionalism and Kingdom purpose.
