Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required.
• 2-5 years accounting/finance experience required.
• Must possess strong financial, analytical, organizational, and quantitative skills, and ability to coordinate complex activities, prioritize conflicting demands and meet deadlines with a quality, accurate work product.
• Must be highly motivated, be able to work independently and possess strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Incumbent is expected to demonstrate strong ethics, strong interpersonal and communication skills to represent the interests of Enterprise both within and outside the organization.
• Knowledge of GAAP is required.
• Public accounting experience and knowledge of real estate analysis/forecasting or LIHTC tax preferred.
• Excellent computer skills, particularly with Excel, are required.
• Interest in learning financial modeling is desirable.
• Experience with Workday is desirable.
• Experience in accounting and analysis related to real estate/LIHTC partnerships is preferred, and knowledge of NPV and IRR are a plus.
• Ability to maintain a big picture focus while attending to detailed work and providing thorough documentation.

Responsibilities

• Understand business/fund structure for investor, partner and auditor communications.
• Review and summarize terms of operating agreements for funds and enforce rights and obligations.
• Maintain ledgers, schedules, and journal entries in line with GAAP and partnership documents.
• Manage fund sources, uses and timing of cash activity.
• Record cash activity and prepare wires for reimbursement to corporate.
• Prepare and review quarterly equity fund financial statements and tax variance analysis.
• Prepare and review annual equity fund tax returns and fund audits.
• Support decision-making with metrics, risk monitoring, and reserves analysis.
• Create and distribute investor reports.
• Interact with staff, investors and external auditors for timely financial information.
• Design and maintain internal controls over financial reporting.
• Evaluate and implement process improvements and automation.
• Demonstrate leadership, collaboration, initiative and accountability.
• Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
