Job summary

The Fund Investment Reporting and Management (FIRM) team at Enterprise is seeking a detail-oriented accountant to manage GAAP financial reporting for LIHTC and Real Estate Equity funds. You will prepare operating results, maintain ledgers, and interact with investors, auditors, and internal partners to ensure timely, accurate reporting.

We value strong Excel skills, knowledge of GAAP, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required.
• 2-5 years accounting/finance experience required.
• Must possess strong financial, analytical, organizational, and quantitative skills, and ability to coordinate complex activities, prioritize conflicting demands and meet deadlines with a quality, accurate work product.
• Must be highly motivated, be able to work independently and possess strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Incumbent is expected to demonstrate strong ethics, strong interpersonal and communication skills to represent the interests of Enterprise both within and outside the organization.

Responsibilities

• Obtain understanding of the business/fund structure for reporting to investors, partners and auditors.
• Review and summarize terms of operating and other agreements for funds and ensure Enterprise rights and obligations are met.
• Maintain ledgers, schedules, journal entries and workpapers per GAAP and partnership documents.
• Manage fund sources, uses and timing of cash activity.
• Record cash activity and prepare wires for reimbursement to corporate.
• Prepare and review quarterly equity fund financial statements and GAAP-to-tax variance analysis.
• Prepare and review annual equity fund tax returns and fund audits.
• Support decision-making with analysis on working capital, reserves, cash flow, and project performance.
• Create and distribute investor reports.
