Job summary

LBA Logistics & Properties, a full-service real estate investment and management company headquartered in Irvine, CA, seeks an entry-level Accountant to support investor reporting and financial statement preparation.

The role involves assisting with audits, investor notices, tax information, loan reporting, journal entries, and processing vendor invoices. Prior accounting exposure in a real estate or corporate setting is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• 0-1 year of experience in Accounting.
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Prepare supporting schedules for investor quarterly reports and financial statements.
• Assist with the annual audit and respond to audit inquiries.
• Assist with preparation of investor contribution and distribution notices.
• Assist with preparation of income tax return information for tax preparers.
• Respond to investor requests for information and inquiries, including preparation of account statements, debt and asset information, and audit confirmations.
• Complete debt compliance calculations and manage all necessary loan reporting requirements to lenders.
• Prepare weekly cash projections.
• Review bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries and assist in the close process.
• Process Fund level invoices for payment.
