Job summary

Goldman Sachs in Dallas is seeking an Analyst/Associate to join the PECC Underwriting team within the Private Markets Investing and Lending group. The role centers on private markets financing, underwriting, and risk assessment across fund finance, with collaboration across deal teams and global partners.

You will build models, review LPAs and fund documentation, draft memos, and support regulatory and risk management efforts while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Interest in private equity and fund finance with a passion for credit solutions.
• Relevant work experience in underwriting, lending, or related roles preferred.
• Solid knowledge of financial accounting and financial analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage changing priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Partner with PECC and other groups to develop credit solutions within risk parameters.
• Diligence on private equity funds, sponsors, and LPAs across strategies.
• Build and maintain borrowing base certificates and financial models.
• Analyze LP statements and subscription documentation to support underwriting.
• Draft committee memos for loans and ad-hoc transactions.
• Support regulatory compliance and risk management efforts.
