Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university in finance, accounting, engineering, or related technical field required.
• 1-3 years of professional financial/accounting experience.
• Strong accounting/financial modeling and analytical skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills supporting a collegial and collaborative working style.
• Ability to create and develop complex financial analysis including detailed assumptions and logical thought process.
• Ability to summarize detailed information for executive communication.
• Plan, organize, prioritize assignments and meet deadlines; manage multiple assignments.
• Learn quickly and work independently within a high-performing team.
• Self-starter with urgency and high-quality results within tight timelines.
• Strong financial acumen with knowledge of financial statements, metrics, and KPIs.
• Understanding of accounting systems, principles, practices, and procedures.
• Able to understand complex transactions and learn new processes.
• Sound business judgment and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence, underwriting, structuring, and closing of new investments.
• Ongoing monitoring of investments post-closing.
• Assist with evaluating potential investment opportunities and ad hoc projects.
• Create financial models and communicate key variables and risks.
• Research and analyze prospective investments with quantitative analyses.
• Prepare internal investment approval memos and presentations.
• Support senior management on special projects as needed.
• Perform ad hoc data gathering and insights extraction.
• Identify and propose opportunities for process improvements.
