Job summary

Goldman Sachs' Private Markets Investing and Lending group in Dallas is seeking an Analyst to join the PECC team. The role involves working with a cross‑functional deal team to structure and underwrite credit solutions tied to fund-level financing, with exposure across buyout, real estate, and infrastructure.

You will conduct due diligence on funds and sponsors, build financial models, gather LP data, and draft memos for loan originations.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in private equity and fund finance.
• Relevant work experience preferred in underwriting, lending, banking, PE, or credit.
• Solid knowledge of financial accounting and financial analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Flexible team player capable of working across multiple teams.
• Proven ability to manage changing priorities and workload.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the PECC Team to advise and develop tailored credit solutions within the firm's risk parameters.
• Conduct thorough diligence on private equity funds and sponsors, including track records, financials, PPMs, and LPAs across diverse strategies (buyout, real estate, infrastructure, etc.).
• Build and maintain borrowing base certificates and sophisticated financial models/spreads.
• Gather and analyze Limited Partner financial statements, subscription documentation, and credit data to support underwriting decisions and assess risk profiles.
• Evaluate the credit implications of complex structured loans.
• Draft committee memos for loan originations, modifications, and other ad-hoc transactions.
• Perform ongoing regulatory compliance and risk management efforts.
