New Birth of Freedom Council in Dillsburg, PA, is seeking a Fund Development Specialist to support fundraising and development efforts. The role processes contributions in Blackbaud CRM, assists the Director of Development, and handles donor data entry and in-person transactions at the service center.

You will manage donor profiles, prepare acknowledgments, assist with events such as York Distinguished Citizen and Golf Tournament, and provide general office support while learning new systems.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Blackbaud CRM or willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Flexible hours during peak seasons as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update donor database, process gifts, issue receipts.
• Manage donor profiles with up-to-date information.
• Support major events and sponsorship activities.
• Process in-person transactions at the service center using POS.
• Prepare donor acknowledgments and payment reminders.
• Assist with audits and reconcile fundraising reports.
• Respond to donor inquiries and maintain records.
• Collaborate with staff for accurate data entry.
• Provide general office support and event logistics.
