Job summary

National Network of Abortion Funds in Philadelphia seeks a Development Associate to support donor and funder relations, data management, and daily fundraising operations. Qualifications

• 1-2 or more years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with donor/guide fundraising operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to supporters while managing the Development team phone and email lines.
• Monitor and respond to emails to the general development department inboxes.
• Coordinate and send timely thank you notes and ‘in honor of’ cards if applicable.
• Maintain fundraising data integrity in Salesforce and build reports as requested.
• Track funder history and engagement with Grantwriting Manager and Associate Director of Institutional Giving.
• Coordinate submissions calendar for funding applications and compile application components.
• Reconcile recurring donations and gifts from third-party campaigns.
• Manage workplace giving portfolio and track donations in Salesforce.
• Support Bowl-a-Thon employer matches and third-party site presence (Network for Good, GuideStar, Benevity).
• Support pass-through grants and donations administration in coordination with Development Operations.
• Process checks, enter gifts, and reconcile donations in a timely manner.
• Update Salesforce with mailing notes and donor communications.
• Coordinate Development team meeting logistics.
• Participate in required convenings and staff communications; maintain confidentiality.
• Travel approximately five times per year for national activities.
