Job summary

Working Wardrobes, a nonprofit in Southern CA, seeks a Director of Fund Development to lead fundraising, marketing, branding, and development initiatives. You will drive revenue generation, strengthen donor engagement, and ensure mission-aligned messaging with the COO, CEO, and board partners.

The role requires 5+ years in development, strong CRM proficiency, and a collaborative leadership style. Office-based work with local travel; competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in development or nonprofit advancement (or equivalent degree and experience).
• 3+ years fundraising including campaigns and event coordination.
• Experience managing budgets and meeting revenue targets.
• CRM proficiency: Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge, DonorPerfect.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop fundraising strategies across individual, corporate, foundation, and community giving.
• Steward grants and coordinate renewals and new funding opportunities with leadership.
• Strengthen donor relationships through multi-level stewardship programs.
• Grow monthly giving programs and donor journeys.
• Engage board members, donors, and community advocates in peer-to-peer fundraising.
• Develop CSR partnerships and naming rights opportunities.
• Lead branding, marketing, and communications to support revenue goals.
• Oversee campaigns, donor communications, and impact reporting.
• Plan and oversee signature fundraising events and sponsorship structures.
• Evaluate outcomes with financial data and donor feedback to refine strategy.
