Premier Alternative Investment Management Client in New York seeks a Controller to join a growing Finance & Accounting team reporting to the CFO. The role will involve financial accounting, control and reporting; investor reporting; tax structuring and compliance; operations; and oversight of third-party service providers for multiple fund entities.

Qualifications

• College degree in accounting or finance required.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• 6+ years in corporate finance/FP&A or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and review quarterly and annual workpapers and financial statement packages.
• Prepare cash forecasting and expense management.
• Review month-end close and financial statement prep.
• Identify process improvements to improve timeliness and accuracy.
• Oversee monthly accounting accruals, expense and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review investor allocations and reporting from fund administrator.
• Participate in budgets and forecasts and monthly close.
• Prepare financial statements and month-end close for firm.
• Manage fund cash balances and journal entries.
