Coda Search│Staffing is partnering with a leading alternative investment manager in New York to identify a Fund Controller for its U.S. debt platform.

The role blends fund accounting oversight with portfolio analytics, performance reporting, valuation support, and liquidity planning. With 6–8 years of relevant experience, you will oversee reporting, NAV review, and investor communications while coordinating audits, tax deliverables, and strong controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Approximately 6–8 years of relevant private funds experience.
• Strong knowledge of NAV, capital accounts, allocations, and waterfalls.
• CPA and/or Big Four background preferred.
• Ability to oversee a third-party administrator and support valuations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quarterly and annual fund reporting, NAV packages and investor statements.
• Review loan accounting, fees, allocations, preferred returns, and carried interest.
• Manage administrator relationships and coordinate audits and tax deliverables.
• Maintain fund models and investment returns analyses (IRR, MOIC, levered/unlevered).
• Analyze portfolio performance and liquidity, including cash flow forecasting.
• Prepare investor reporting and support fundraising materials; improve processes.
