Phyton Talent Advisors is seeking an early-career Project Coordinator to support the Fund Services team in the launch and lifecycle management of alternative investment funds. You will work with internal groups and external service providers to ensure timely, accurate fund launches and ongoing activities.

You will gain exposure to asset management operations, coordinate tasks, maintain plans and trackers, and help prepare reports.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day project coordination for fund launches and related activities.
  • Maintain project plans, launch checklists, trackers and internal workflow tools.
  • Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, materials, and document notes and actions.
  • Follow up with stakeholders on tasks, information, and deadlines.
  • Support fund setup, data management, and record-keeping for launches and changes.
  • Assist in reporting and process-improvement initiatives.

Job description

  • The Fund Services team supports the setup, launch, and ongoing lifecycle management of alternative investment funds. We partner with internal business groups and external service providers to ensure fund launches and lifecycle activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
About the Role
  • This is an early-career opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to asset management operations, investment products, and the full fund lifecycle. Working alongside experienced team members, you will provide analytical and project coordination support for new fund launches and ongoing fund lifecycle events.
Responsibilities:
Project Coordination
  • Provide day-to-day project coordination for new fund launches and other fund-related activities
  • Maintain project plans, launch checklists, trackers, and internal workflow tools under the direction of senior team members
  • Schedule working-group meetings, prepare draft agendas, organize materials, and document meeting notes and action items
  • Follow up with internal stakeholders on assigned tasks, required information, and upcoming deadlines
Fund Setup & Data Management
  • Set up new funds in firm systems based on fund documentation and internal information
  • Collect and organize information needed for internal system setup and external service-provider onboarding
  • Maintain accurate records for fund launches, fund changes, restructurings, and terminations
  • Perform data validation to confirm information is complete and accurately reflected across trackers and supporting materials
Reporting & Process Improvement
  • Support the preparation of status reports, management updates, presentations, and working-group documentation
  • Identify missing information, overdue deliverables, or potential process issues and escalated them to the appropriate team members
  • Contribute to ad hoc operational projects and process-improvement initiatives
