Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics and/or Finance.
• 4+ years of Private Equity Fund/Investment Company accounting & reporting experience.
• Ability to learn quickly and propose client solutions.
• Adaptable to rapidly changing processes and procedures.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Superior problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
• Extensive Microsoft Office skills: Excel (pivot tables), Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations and accounting of an existing fund independently.
• Interface with clients and manage a fund with limited guidance.
• Supervise a small staff of accountants when needed.
• Assist initial setup of client funds deliverables (capital calls, distributions, financial statements, waterfalls, IRRs) and review before MD sign-off.
• Review Financial Reports and Capital Events and Private Equity complex transactions.
