Job summary

Gen II Fund Services, LLC is seeking a Fund Accounting Manager to lead daily fund operations and independently manage client funds. You will supervise staff, ensure accurate financial reporting, and guide complex PE transactions.

The role demands deep knowledge of LPAs, GAAP for investment funds, and strong communication to interface with sponsors. Hybrid schedule with in-office and remote days available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics and/or Finance.
• 7+ years of relevant Private Equity Fund/Investment Company Accounting & Reporting experience.
• Ability to learn on-the-job quickly and apply learning to clients.
• Ability to adapt to changes in processes in a rapidly changing environment.
• Management and supervisory experience.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Superior problem solving, judgment and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Director/Managing Director managing daily Fund Operations.
• Manage the operations and accounting of an existing fund independently.
• Interface and manage a client/business with limited guidance.
• Familiar with LPAs and governing documents; extract key economics and summarize.
• Supervise and direct a small accounting staff if required.
• Oversee setup of Clients Funds deliverables (capital calls, distributions, financial statements, waterfalls, IRRs).
• Perform analyses of Financial Reports and Private Equity transactions.
