The Department of Children and Families in Gainesville, FL seeks an Accountant III to manage three local fund accounts within Florida Accounting Information System (FLAIR) and Quicken, making all necessary corrections to FLAIR.

You will coordinate with involved areas to prepare FLAIR and banking entries, verify mail logs, post deposits, and prepare monthly category reports in Quicken, maintaining accurate accounting records and ensuring compliance with applicable rules.

Responsabilidades

• This position will be responsible for managing three local fund accounts to Florida Accounting Information System (FLAIR), Quicken and local bank, making all correcting entries to FLAIR.
• Coordinating with all involved areas in preparation of FLAIR & banking entries needed to adjust for stop payments
• Verify mail log
• Post deposits from mail log
• Prepare and reconcile monthly category reports with Quicken.
