Job summary

Stone Coast Fund Services Ltd. is seeking an experienced Fund Accountant to manage hedge fund accounting, liaise with fund managers and service providers, and ensure accurate NAV and reporting for multiple clients.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, collaboration, and adherence to industry standards. The successful candidate will have 3+ years of hedge fund accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and a four‑year degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of fund accounting experience for hedge funds
• Experience acting as a primary liaison with fund managers and other fund service providers
• Familiarity with hedge fund investments is a plus
• Experience with portfolio and investor accounting systems (Advent Geneva World Investor a plus)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (formulas, pivot tables)
• Four-year college degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or Economics

Responsibilities

• Allocate P&L to investors and calculate management and performance fees
• Process and record fund expense payments and wire requests
• Generate and deliver fund and investor reports to fund managers and investors
• Prepare materials for board meetings, financial statements, audits and regulatory requests
• Review NAV and investor statements for accuracy against standards
• Mentor, train and support fund accountants
• Ensure fund accounting tasks are completed accurately and timely
• Act as liaison with fund managers and service providers
