Job summary

Stone Coast Fund Services Ltd. is seeking a Fund Accountant with hedge fund experience to allocate P&L, process expenses, and deliver client reports. The role requires strong Excel skills and familiarity with Advent Geneva World Investor.

You will collaborate with fund managers and service providers, mentor junior staff, and ensure accurate, timely accounting for assigned clients. A four-year degree in accounting/finance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in fund accounting for hedge funds.
• Primary liaison with fund managers and other fund service providers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; advanced Excel required.
• Four-year college degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or Economics.
• Familiarity with hedge fund investments a plus.
• Experience with portfolio and investor accounting systems such as Advent Geneva World Investor a plus.
• Experience with financial reporting, information security and client/vendor/risk management a plus.
• Experience with Excel (formulas, pivot tables, filtering) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Allocate profit and loss to investors including the calculation of management and performance fees.
• Process and record fund expense payments and ensure cash wire requests are completed accurately and timely.
• Generate and deliver fund and investor reports to fund managers and investors of assigned clients.
• Prepare and deliver supporting materials for board meetings, financial statements and audit and regulatory requests.
• Communicate with internal and external entities to ensure best in class service levels; review NAV and investor statements for accuracy.
• Mentor, train, and support fund accountants.
• Assure fund accounting tasks are completed accurately and timely.
