Job summary

Stone Coast Fund Services Ltd. is seeking a qualified fund accountant to join our Fund Accounting team. The role supports hedge fund clients, allocates P&L, calculates management and performance fees, and prepares investor reports.

With 3+ years in fund accounting, you will mentor junior staff, ensure timely completion of tasks, and coordinate with fund managers and auditors. We offer remote options, competitive pay, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in fund accounting for hedge funds.
• Proficient with Advent Geneva World Investor and related fund accounting systems.
• Experience with financial reporting, information security and client, vendor, and risk management is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, filtering).

Responsibilities

• Allocate profit and loss to investors including the calculation of management and performance fees.
• Process and record fund expense payments and ensure cash wire requests are completed accurately and timely.
• Generate and deliver fund and investor reports to fund managers and investors of assigned clients.
• Prepare and deliver supporting materials for board meetings, financial statements, audits and regulatory requests.
• Communicate with internal and external entities to ensure service levels and review NAV and investor statements.
• Mentor, train, and support fund accountants.
• Ensure fund accounting tasks are completed accurately and timely.
