Stone Coast Fund Services, a hedge fund administrator in Portland, ME, seeks a Fund Accountant with 3+ years of hedge fund experience to record and reconcile activity, calculate NAV and allocate fees. You will prepare investor reports and assist with audits, board materials, and risk controls, partnering with fund managers and service providers.

The role offers flexible scheduling, potential remote options, and a discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of experience in hedge fund accounting
• Familiarity with hedge fund investments a plus
• Experience with Advent Geneva World Investor a plus
• Experience with internal control procedures and workflows a plus
• Experience with financial reporting, information security, vendor and risk management a plus
• Must be able to learn complicated concepts quickly
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office essential; advanced Excel required

Responsabilités

• Record and reconcile portfolio and fund activity for assigned clients
• Calculate NAV adhering to industry standards and internal procedures
• Allocate profit and loss to investors including management and performance fees
• Process and record fund expense payments and ensure timely wire requests
• Generate and deliver fund and investor reports to fund managers and investors
• Prepare materials for board meetings, financial statements and audits
• Communicate with internal and external entities to ensure best-in-class service
• Review NAV, investor statements and related work for accuracy against standards
