Job summary

Ultimus Fund Solutions is seeking a Manager, Fund Team to oversee day-to-day operations of client Funds and coordinate with General Partners. The role requires mastery of complex private equity accounting, overseeing financial reporting, and managing capital calls and distributions.

The position includes leading the Staff Accountant I–II and Senior Accountant I–II, providing training and guidance, and interacting with auditors during audits. Strong supervisory and accounting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years' supervisory experience in accounting or related field.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field required.
• MBA/MSA strongly preferred.
• CPA license strongly preferred.
• Experience in forecasting and budgeting during growth periods.
• Proficient in MS Office; Investran or similar software a plus.
• Ability to multitask, manage time, and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and distribution of quarterly financial statements to Limited Partners.
• Oversee schedules to support general ledger balances.
• Calculate and distribute capital call notices to Limited Partners.
• Interpret terms in the Limited Partnership Agreement.
• Calculate and review complex waterfall structures.
• Complete required regulatory forms for fund compliance.
• Calculate and distribute proceeds to Limited Partners.
