The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Fund Accounting Manager to lead a team responsible for delivering fund accounting services to a portfolio of sophisticated private equity clients.

The role combines technical oversight, people leadership and client ownership. You'll be responsible for managing Fund Accountants, Senior Fund Accountants and Supervisors while acting as a key point of contact for clients, auditors and internal stakeholders.

This position is well suited to someone who enjoys the technical aspects of private equity fund accounting but is equally motivated by leadership, relationship management and helping to build a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Fund Accountants, Senior Fund Accountants and Supervisors.
• Review NAV calculations, financial statements and investor reporting for private equity funds.
• Oversee partnership allocations, management fees, fund expenses and carried interest calculations.
• Serve as the primary contact for client accounting queries and service delivery matters.
• Coordinate external audits and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Review partnership agreements and fund documentation to support technical accounting decisions.

What We're Looking For

• Private equity fund accounting experience gained within a fund administrator, asset manager or similar environment.
• Previous experience leading or managing fund accounting teams.
• Strong technical accounting and financial statement review experience.
• Understanding of partnership accounting and private equity fund structures.
• Ability to manage client relationships and act as an escalation point for complex issues.
• CPA, CA, CFA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
