Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking an experienced Finance Transformation, Fund Accounting Manager to oversee NAV production, fund financial reporting, internal controls, audits, and treasury functions for our diverse fund platforms. You will collaborate with fund account teams and cross-functional professionals to ensure accurate, timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• CPA required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in fund accounting or cross-functional fund roles.
• Thorough knowledge of investment fund software such as Investran, Geneva, OneSource, DFIN Arc Reporting.
• Experience with complex fund structures and coordination with fund PMs and Controllers.
• Willingness to work extra hours and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee NAV production and fund financial reporting.
• Maintain internal control environment and assist audit processes.
• Coordinate partnership transactions, waterfall and carried interest calculations.
• Manage fund purchase/sale cycles and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Provide analytics on cash flow and fund performance to portfolio managers.
• Identify process improvements and drive automation to strengthen controls.
