Position Overview:

The firm is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Fund Accounting Manager to join its growing finance team. This individual will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting processes for a portfolio of investment funds. The ideal candidate has a strong technical accounting background, deep understanding of investment fund structures, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily and monthly accounting operations for a suite of private investment funds
• Prepare and/or review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and fund-specific reporting standards
• Coordinate and review work performed by third-party fund administrators
• Partner with internal teams including tax, operations, legal, and compliance
• Assist with year-end audits, liaising with external auditors and supporting documentation requests
• Stay current on regulatory and accounting changes impacting the asset management industry

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA strongly preferred
• 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a mix of public accounting (Big Four preferred) and fund accounting within financial services
• Strong understanding of investment fund structures, including private equity, hedge, and/or credit funds
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership and external service providers
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
