Base pay range

$145,000.00/yr - $165,000.00/yr

Public Partnerships LLC (PPL) helps people with disabilities, chronic illnesses, or other long-term health conditions stay at home and “self-direct” their care. Known as consumer direction in New York, this long-term care model empowers people to take control of who provides their services and where. PPL was selected to be the Statewide Fiscal Intermediary for the New York Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP) starting in 2025. We will, along with a diverse alliance of service partners across the state, support the delivery of culturally sensitive and disability-competent care to CDPAP participants. This is a NY-based remote position. Candidates must reside in the state of New York.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Directs the finance operations of the company, including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets to mitigate risk.
  2. Ensures accuracy of the company's reported financial results.
  3. Ensures compliance with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.
  4. Manages outsourced functions.
  5. Oversees the operations of the finance department.
  6. Prepares financial statements in accordance with official guidelines and requirements.
  7. Recommends benchmarks to measure company performance.
  8. Calculates and issues financial and operational metrics.
  9. Leads and directs the work of others.
  10. Manages the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts.
  11. Provides financial analyses for capital investments, pricing, and contracts.
  12. Assists in establishing economic objectives and policies.
  13. Coordinates external audits.
  14. Ensures compliance with government reporting and tax filings.
  15. Prepares reports on the company's financial position.
  16. Manages financial due diligence and M&A activities.
  17. Reviews and interprets financial and budget reports, making recommendations to management.
  18. Establishes controls to safeguard assets.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with CDPAP and Medicaid programs or similar healthcare tech companies preferred.
  • Ability to develop standards and budgets.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Working knowledge of financial software systems.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple processes.
  • Effective communication with all management levels.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
  • Workday experience preferred.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration required; MBA preferred.

Experience:

10+ years’ progressive experience in a major company or division.

Strong knowledge of GAAP.

Prior supervisory experience required.

Working Conditions:

Remote; candidates must reside in New York.

Supervisory Responsibility:

Direct supervision of department staff.

Compensation Range: $145,000 - $165,000
