Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

Job Overview – Finance & Operations Manager (Consumer Products)

Compensation: $100,000-$130,000 base + 100% paid for benefits – no bonus

Location: 100% remote

Schedule: Monday to Friday – typically east coast hours 10-6

Consumer/Designer Brand is seeking a Finance Manager to handle employee onboarding and payroll, maintain financials, manage corporate reconciliations, filing sales tax returns, overseeing AR/AP while reporting directly into the COO.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain accurate financial records and perform monthly reconciliations for company accounts
• Conduct monthly reviews of bank and credit card activity to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Monitor departmental budgets and support financial discipline across the organization
• Prepare and submit state sales tax filings in a timely manner
• Supervise billing and payment cycles, including both accounts receivable and payable
• Lead year-end processes: coordinate inventory audits, support tax filings, and liaise with auditors
• Ensure timely distribution of annual K-1s to partners
• Administer onboarding, payroll, benefits, and HR compliance using Justworks
• Manage commercial insurance coverage and oversee the renewal process
• Tackle occasional administrative and operational projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting, including full-cycle bookkeeping and reconciliation
• Proven ability to manage books across multiple business entities with audit readiness
• Exceptional organizational skills with a talent for managing multiple deadlines and priorities
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment; team operates on Eastern Time
