Job summary

Cyperus Group LLC seeks an experienced fund accounting leader with deep PERE exposure to oversee the general ledger, allocations, and financial reporting for private equity clients. Qualifications

• 8+ years PERE experience in Fund Administration or public/private accounting experience.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure Funds (open/closed ended), regulatory requirements and other reporting guidelines.
• Experience in managing and marketing a new business unit.
• Strong skills in negotiation, business planning and budgeting, margin analysis, rating agency relations and technical accounting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and control the general ledger and various sub-ledgers.
• Prepare and review financial statements, footnotes and partner capital statements.
• Prepare and review limited partner and general partner allocations.
• Prepare and review trial balances and work paper product.
• Coordinate with Operations, Financial Statement, Tax and Investor Relations groups.
• Coordinate, manage and monitor external audit process.
• Review private equity fund client’s partnership agreements, PPM’s and other materials.
• Be involved with the implementation of fund structures on accounting system.
• Prepare ad hoc reports as needed.
• Review trading and operations processes for the Company’s private equity division.
