Job summary

Cyperus Group LLC is seeking an experienced Fund Accounting Manager to lead the Private Equity Fund Accounting team in Dallas. You will oversee NAVs, financial statements and investor deliverables while developing a team of fund accounting professionals.

The role offers significant exposure to clients, senior leadership and cross-functional teams, with responsibility for ensuring accuracy and timely reporting in a fast-paced environment. CPA/CFA is a plus and strong U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• CPA, CFA or equivalent designation is a plus.
• 3–5+ years of fund accounting experience in private equity or related finance.
• Experience leading fund accounting professionals and teams.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statements.
• Understanding of private equity fund structures, capital activity and fees.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proven client-facing communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Fund Accountants and Supervisors with mentorship.
• Oversee NAV calculations, financial statements and partner allocations.
• Review fund expenses, management fees and carried interest.
• Ensure accurate reporting and investor deliverables.
• Review partnership agreements and fund documentation for proper accounting.
• Coordinate with audits and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with investor relations, tax and reporting teams.
• Drive process improvements and controls for efficiency.
