Kentro is hiring a Functional Analyst III to join the Portfolio Operations team, supporting a large-scale, multi-year contract with the Integrated Personnel and Pay System - Army (IPPS-A) Army Military Payroll (AMP). The Functional Analyst III will be an agile development team member responsible for configuring PeopleSoft application modules to meet team objectives. The role requires collaboration, problem-solving, and effective communication within and across teams.

Responsibilities
  • Configure modules in PeopleSoft software to meet design specifications.
  • Provide estimates for work assignments.
  • Document software configurations.
  • Translate user stories and acceptance criteria into functional designs.
  • Conduct unit testing and support application enhancements and defect resolution.
  • Perform peer reviews to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Explain software functionality to team members and end users.
Location

Crystal City, VA area (Hybrid with at least 3 days on site).

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years experience within federal government, DoD, Army, IC, or private sector
  • 2+ years experience as a Functional Analyst
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Military HR and Pay experience
Preferred Skills
  • Certifications in IAT Level II, PeopleSoft HCM, and SAFe for Teams
Soft Skills

Physical Requirements
