Job summary

Nps Llc in Foxborough, MA is seeking a Part-Time Catering Assistant to thoroughly set up and break down catering equipment for events, including football games and other stadium functions. You will follow directions, prepare and stage items, and ensure service standards for trays, wine, tables and buffets.

A flexible schedule and physical ability to lift 75 pounds are required. Experience in high-volume catering and basic computer skills (Excel, email) are preferred, with strong English

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in high-volume catering or full-service dining.
• Knowledge of food service and table standards.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to move a minimum of 75 pounds.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly set up all catered events with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Follow direction and adhere to department standards.
• Review Banquet Event Orders and Pull Sheets for accuracy of set ups.
• Meet service standards for trays, wine, table and buffet service.
• Break down and clean up equipment and store properly after events.
• Work in indoor and outdoor settings across the property as needed.
• Communicate special requests to management during setup.
• Handle special projects as required by business needs.

Job DetailsJob Location: NPS - Foxborough, MA 02035Position Type: Part TimeSalary Range: $15.00 - $20.00 HourlySUMMARY:Fully stages all necessary catering equipment and supplies needed for a complete set up of a function.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the thorough and accurate set-up of all catered events
• Ability to carefully follow direction with care to all details and department standards paying special attention to
• Banquet Event Orders and Pull Sheets to ensure accuracy of all event set ups.
• Ability to meet all service standards including, but not limited to, tray carrying, wine service, table service and buffet service
• Thoroughly break-down and clean up all catering equipment and supplies following events, ensuring proper care and storage of all equipment, supplies, food and beverage
• Complete tasks in a variety of environment as assigned by management to include indoor and outdoor catering throughout the property
• Communicate any and all special requests and needs to management that are expressed by client during set up time
• Special projects and assignments as business dictate.

• Ability to fully commit to all home football games and other full stadium events
• 2 years' experience in high volume catering or full service dining
• Knowledge of food service and table standards
