Job summary

Accordia Mortgage is seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Closer/Funder to join our remote team. You will manage the closing and funding processes, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance while coordinating with loan officers, title, escrow, and borrowers.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of closing experience, strong knowledge of residential loan documentation, and experience with Encompass.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of mortgage closing, funding, or related operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of residential mortgage loan documentation and closing procedures.
• Experience using Encompass or a similar loan origination system.
• Ability to manage multiple loans and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage closings from agreement to funding, maintaining accuracy and timelines.
• Generate and review Closing Disclosures (CDs) for accuracy and compliance.
• Balance final loan figures with title/escrow and resolve discrepancies prior to closing.
• Coordinate closing requirements with officers, processors, title/escrow, borrowers, and agents.
• Review final documents for completeness before funding.
